NEWARK, Del. -

Police in Delaware have arrested a man and woman accused of committing a lewd act on the rooftop of a local Chipotle.

The incident happened on July 12 at 9:40 p.m. in Newark. Officers say they arrived on the 100 block of East Main Street after receiving multiple reports about two people engaging in sexual intercourse on the roof above the restaurant.

When officers arrived at the scene, they say they observed Michael Suh, 42, and Nicole Germack, 27, engaging in sexual intercourse on the roof at the very front of the Chipotle building.

The officer advised them to stop but says they continued for approximately 15 to 20 seconds before stopping. When officers told them they were under arrest, they fled to an apartment building on the 100 block of East Main Street.

They were then taken into custody without further incident. Suh and Germack were released after receiving $1,800 unsecured bond on charges of resisting arrest, lewdness, indecent exposure, loitering and conspiracy.
