Man accused of shooting upskirt videos at local stores

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Clinton Leroy Hollister is facing more than 20 charges of voyeurism after police say he targeted women and tried to take videos up their skirts.

According to police, Hollister would go to a number of local businesses to take the videos.

Police say they first time they learned about the videos was in April at an Ahwatukee Joann Fabrics store.

Allegedly Hollister would take his cell phone, put it in video mode and then put it in a shopping basket with the camera pointing up.

"At one point while in the store she actually felt something touch her leg and when she looked down she saw he was behind her," said Phoenix Police Sgt. Trent Crump about the woman who reported Hollister,
"When she saw this happen she went to the front of the store and she contacted the manager for the store."

Officers say Hollister refused to show the manager or the woman what was on the phone and took off before police arrived, however, the woman's teenage daughter was able to snap a photo of his license plate.

Then this month police identified another victim and after serving a search warrant say they found more than 20 deleted videos of him attempting to shoot up women's skirts.

Hollister made his first court appearance on July 30 and is facing 26 counts of voyeurism.

"If you see something say something, this is a particular case, if you see this kind of activity bring it forward to an employee of the store or police. Bring it forward so we can stop it," said Crump.

Police say there are more than a dozen victims out there and so far only two have been identified.

If you recognize Hollister and think you may be a victim, you're asked to call Phoenix police at 602-534-2121.
