(WJBK) - The prosecution has rested its case in the Renisha McBride murder trial. Theodore Wafer, 55, has been charged with second-degree murder, manslaughter and felony firearm.

During Wednesday's trial, the lead investigator of the case returned to the stand. The defense attorney for Wafer accused the investigator of siding with the prosecution.

She accused the investigator of not filling out a crime log at the scene, of not taking fingerprints and now searching for any other people who might have knocked on Wafer's door.

Wafer has said he heard pounding at his front and side doors after 4:30 a.m., which woke him up.

The accusations led to a heated discussion between attorneys.
