Firefighter injured battling house fire in Detroit

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) - A possible arson kept Detroit firefighters busy for much of the evening.

Fox 2 is told the flames started inside an abandoned home on 31st Street between Jackson and Buchanon on the city's west side. The fire quickly spread to two others, one of which is occupied.

The fire took a couple of hours to get under control and we're told a firefighter injured his legs trying to put out the flames.

Right now what started the fire is unclear but arson investigators have been called to the scene.
