Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta hold fall membership blitz

Posted: Updated:
ATLANTA, Ga. - It all began with 18 members in Savannah, GA back in the early 1900s.  Now, there are more than three-million Girl Scouts across the globe, including thousands in Great Atlanta, and the organization hopes that numbers just keeps growing.

That's why today the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta are holding the Fall Girl Scout Blitz.  The organization is hosting sign-up locations throughout its 34-county service area to register girls
for the upcoming year.  The blitz makes it easy for girls to sign up, and for parents to get information on what it means to be part of the Girl Scouts.

Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken spent the morning at one of the sign-up locations, learning more about the organization and what it means for local youth.  Click the video above to check it out!
