GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. -

Police have released dramatic video of a police chase tearing through the streets of Gwinnett County.

Gwinnett County deputies say the man behind the wheel is 41-year-old James Staples.

Police had information that Staples, a fugitive wanted on drug charges, was at a Lawrenceville hotel. They went to pick him up Thursday, but he had other plans.

Video shows Staples speeding down Riverside Parkway for three miles.

The entire incident was caught on a deputy's dashboard camera. Deputies had help from both U.S. marshals and the Georgia State Patrol.

The chase ended after about ten minutes.

No injuries were reported in the chase and Staples was arrested after the incident.
