(WJBK) - A Clinton Township family is taking legal action after their loved one was killed by falling tiles at Menards.

Attorney Geoffrey Fieger is expected to file two lawsuits against Menards Thursday in Macomb County Circuit Court.

Richard Colletti, 38, was killed over the weekend when he was shopping at the Menards store in Chesterfield Township when a pallet of heavy ceramic tiles fell directly onto his head.

Fieger plans to file both a wrongful death lawsuit and another complaint alleging the infliction of emotional distress on Colletti's wife, Cindy. She was with him shopping when the accident happened.
