Employees say Burger King purse snatcher was also asking for a job

Posted: Updated:
DETROIT (WJBK) - Employees at a local fast food chain say they recognize a suspected purse snatcher as a man who was asking for a job that very same day.

Police say a woman eating at the Burger King on Seven Mile and Greenfield roads accidentally left her purse Wednesday and, when she returned to claim it, it was gone.

The manager on duty reviewed the surveillance footage and before turning it over to police - employees realized they recognized the suspect.

Employees say the suspect was in the restaurant earlier that day asking if they were taking interviews and how he could apply for a job.
